“ In town with 3 generations (ages 21 to 80) for dinner after basketball game at UJ. Went here, pretty decent food, and attached to bar so selection of drinks was good. 5 stars because it fit the bill for all 7 of us to sit and talk. Most places these days are too loud to have a conversation. It was a Saturday evening and we were the only ones in the place. Service was good, too. ”

“ Stopped in at Shady’s after work and we had awesome service! It was Saturday and the place was packed. Dakota the bartender had to make all the drinks and serve the entire house food and drink as they were short handed due to Illness. I can’t believe what a great job he did and also stopping to say hi and check on us! We had the Grinder pizza which I had never had before and it was delicious! Great place and lots of fun ”

“ We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Gladstone Inn and we were very pleased with the service we received. They had an excellent choice of meals to choose from. We chose to use buffett with ham and roast beef. Everyone raved about the great meal! You could cut your beef with a fork it was so tender! The tablecloths, linens, and chair covers were clean and in good condition. We would give a good recommendation for others to use Shady's Restaurant. ”
